So why does every new conversation still feel like meeting a stranger who read your dossier?
They have the facts. They don't have you.
Everyone thinks we're fighting fascism. We're not.
I don't say this to dismiss what you're seeing. The raids are real. The executive orders are real. If you're alarmed, you should be.
But the fascism frame isn't wrong. It's incomplete. And incomplete frames are how populations get captured.
At some point I stopped feeling excitement. Not sadness, not depression. Just nothing where excitement should be.
Most people would consider this a problem to fix. I discovered something different: Intellectual fascination doesn't require the emotion of excitement.
Fascination is a CHOICE—a frame for engaging with reality—not a feeling that has to arise naturally.

Nemo Operans is my essay publication on cognitive liberation—at both personal scale (human-AI partnership, Third Mind) and societal scale (political resistance, frame warfare).
The name is Latin for "Nobody Operating"—connecting to flow state, non-attachment to the doer, and the Third Mind that emerges when genuine partnership replaces instrumental use.
Not two pillars. One mission at different scales: teaching people HOW to think, not WHAT to think.
